SHISEIDO leads the way as the exclusive beauty partner for KENZO’s new artistic endeavor: YO! MY SAINT, an original film with music by Karen O and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour.
SHISEIDO, the Japanese skincare expert for more than 100 years, is proud to announce its latest creative brand collaboration with KENZO, the vibrant and playful Parisian fashion house. This partnership demonstrates SHISEIDO’s unrivaled expertise and global relevance within the beauty space and continues its rich legacy of artistic collaboration.
As a brand that has always celebrated and honored the role of the muse, SHISEIDO was the perfect fit to be the sole beauty partner in the KENZO fronted film, YO! MY SAINT – A groundbreaking artistic endeavor, incorporating music, film, fashion and beauty. SHISEIDO, and its product line Essential Energy – launching in March 2018 – plays a role within YO! MY SAINT, both in front of and behind the camera.
Directed by Ana Lily Amirpour and starring Alex Zhang Hungtai, Jessica Henwick and Kiko Mizuhara, the film lands at a pivotal moment in time for both brands, as SHISEIDO and KENZO unite to embrace their Japanese roots and vibrant history.
