Fashion Month allows us to put our finger on the pulse of fashion trends from designers around the world. On Saturday (3.3.18) Oxford Fashion Studio brought 12 international independent designers to showcase their FW18 collection in Paris. While these designers hailed from various parts of the globe (with designers from the United States, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Norway, Canada, and Lebanon), fashion is a universal language that brought them together through the below trends.

1. TRIBAL & INDIGENOUS PRINTS
Beautiful prints of international influence added to the cultural diversity in many of the collections through fun embroidery, textiles, and prints
2. SHEER ILLUSION
Sheer fabrics brought sexy eye popping moments to the runway
3. SEAFOAM BLUE & GREEN
Seafoam blue and greens will definitely be Pantone colors to watch this coming fall
Accents of ruffles prove to they can be fun, sexy, elegant, and classic in their various forms.
5. RED HOT FABRICS
Red is always a fall favorite, and was incorporated in various textures.
6. FEATHERS, FRINGE, AND TASSELS
Fringe, feathers, and tassels are a great way to add movement to any look and were definitely showstoppers on the runway.
7. CROP TOPS
Crops tops made their appearance on the runway with skirts, pants, and illusions.
8. COPPER & GOLD
Nothing says look at me more than a pop of metallic gold that shines in the light.
Capes, capes, capes…this is the silhouette of the season and was seen in both traditional and atypical ways

Bling bling is all we can say about this trend…more is more when it comes to all things shiny.
