Natalia Kalinowski talks about her travels and her modeling
Natalia Kalinowski loves to cover her travel experiences through her blog. Her blog shows off what each place is like. She also enjoys the modeling scene.
How often do you travel?
I travel a few times during the year, but it’s usually a last-minute thing. It’s all dependent on what contracts or jobs I get a book on through with my agency and if I can make a trip out of it. Every year is different as this year we only went once and the years before were up to 3-4 times a year. I can’t complain because I live the world’s best city, so working here is a blessing.
What are some of your favorite places that you have been to?
My top 3 favorite travel destinations are Dubai, Singapore, and the Maldives. All three destinations are stunning in scenery. Hotel luxury, as well as amazing amounts of different activities, is provided for tourists without missing the authentic nature of each destination.
What are some places that you wish to visit but haven’t been yet?
I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii, Bora Bora, and Monaco. I love tropical and beach holiday destinations, however, Monaco isn’t a typical beach location but it does have the beautiful waterfront views surrounding the city and imagine seeing it from a yacht with a bottle of champagne.
What is the most exciting aspect of modeling?
The most exciting aspect of modeling would be meeting new people on shoots or jobs. These days it’s so hard to meet new people with everyone always on their phones or staying in their circles. It’s refreshing to go to shoot where everyone there needs to speak to each other to produce the final product.
I enjoy the fact that every day for me is different. Some days I drive around Melbourne visiting clients and going to castings, and other days its in-studio or location shooting. I’m blessed with some of the opportunities like showcasing some of the best-hidden secrets of Melbourne.
What do you most want to bring out about the locations that you visit?
Whenever I travel to a new country or destination I try to show the best of the best of the hotel and hotel resources as well as any known and local food dishes. I love sharing my tips and tricks with my followers and audience on what rooms in a hotel to book, which restaurants to eat in, and what activities to do or sights to visit while visiting a particular country.
What do you find to be the most interesting element of the places that you visit?
I love getting to know the hotel staff and locals from the country we are visiting. Finding out the history or meaning behind the local dishes, the hotel and signature cocktails/dishes make it so much more enjoyable. Also dining like a local is always one of the best-hidden secrets of traveling.
What advice would you give to people who want to begin traveling?
My advice about traveling would be to really spend the time researching the country or destination your planning to visit and work out what type of experience you want.
Before heading overseas without knowing anything about the destination, its essential to understand your destinations culture, laws, customary, weather and overall orientation. Knowledge is the key to a successful and amazing holiday, the more you know the better you will be prepared and will enjoy your time traveling.
