Eternal Flowers for Every Kind of Endless Love
Flowers are laden with symbolism. The meanings of flowers can be personal, cultural, or historical. Flowers embody a duality–half of which, no one wants to reflect too much on when receiving them. The many forms of flowers evoke a sense of timelessness and purity. Unfortunately, they are also fragile and usually begin wilting long before we want them to. Polyester flowers are an option if the basic form is all that matters, but the texture and look of false flowers aren’t comparable to the real thing.
Fresh flowers that live longer than a week, or a month, would be ideal. The concept of eternal flowers presents a solution to this desire. Eternal flowers have gained popularity in recent years. They are real flowers preserved so that they can last for as long as a year. These flowers are a luxurious solution to what is maybe the only downside of flowers.
Notably, Sweet SXM Beauty floral cosmetics line launched a makeup collection designed in eternal flowers. In searching for other companies who follow that ethos of everlasting flowers, we came across a Glam Box & since Valentine’s Day is a designated occasion to express your affection the people in your life to friends, family, teachers, or your partner – The 7th Magazine’s Blog, Luxury Chapters, has interviewed Eternal Fleur about eternal flowers and why they are a magnificent way to spoil your loved ones.
I. Are eternal flowers a fairly new concept?
Eternal flowers have been on the market since the early 2000s, however they haven’t made a strong debut until 5-6 years ago—which started out in Russia and Dubai.
II. How long have they been available?
They made their way to the US about 4-5 years ago and now are becoming very popular. A lot of customers still haven’t heard about them, which is super exciting!
III. Why are eternal flowers better than traditional flowers that usually die quickly?
Eternal flowers are better because they can live up to a year or longer without any water, sunlight, and they require very little maintenance. The average rose is wilting away by the time that you pick it up from a floral shop.
IV. Can you tell me a little bit about the process of turning a flower into an eternal flower?
Yes, the flowers are preserved in glycerin which is what allows them to live.
V. To a person who is not familiar with eternal flowers, they may seem costly. Can you explain why they are a good investment?
These flowers are a good investment because you won’t have to maintain the flowers and change them out as quickly. They can possibly even last past a year if maintained properly.
VI. Which flowers are your best-sellers?
Our best-sellers are the 12 Rose (Bloom Box), 4 Rose Grand Square (White Box), and 9 Rose Grand Square (Black Box). Customers’ favorite colors are red, pink, white, and navy.
VII. I read that Eternal Fleur is a women owned company. That’s wonderful! What does Eternal Fleur do to empower all kinds of women?
We hire all types of women from multiple diversities and give them the opportunity to work in a team. At Eternal Fleur, every woman has a say in our company.
VIII. What are some interesting custom orders you’ve created for customers?
Eternal Fleur makes a lot of custom orders which is what we love because we feel that customers these days really love personalized styles. We work with crystals which are made from Swarovski, and apply those on some of our rose arrangements. Also, we’ve made something for a large celebrity, which was “I love you” written with a big heart and letters.
IX. What was the thought process like behind the packaging to ensure it bolstered the beauty of the flower?
We are always thinking of new ideas at Eternal Fleur. Functionality as well as something that is in style is considered. We want our customers to have Eternal Fleur everywhere—home, office, and gifting purposes.
X. Is Eternal Fleur doing anything special for Valentine’s Day?
Yes! we have 20% off on orders over $150. The code is VDAY20.
Eternal flowers bear a message of not just love, but enduring love. No matter what you want to communicate, they serve as a reminder of all the reasons we celebrate Valentine’s Day. Flowers enhance the message, but it doesn’t hurt to say it with words, too.
