“With time, determination and a lot of work I progressed and became who I am. But this is not over yet, I still have a lot to learn and still a lot of work.”
The process of drawing is somewhat complicated and requires many skills. Dinem shows us those skills by showing us the actual process of creating an amazing drawing. Here is what Dinem had to tell us about drawing when we sat down for some questions-
When did you get into art?
I’ve always love to draw, but I didn’t draw a lot. I start to draw in class and then I began many works. One day, in class, I started to draw a car, and I found it well done. So I made another one, and another one, and so on. Since then I haven’t stopped, and now everyday I draw all that I like and always with pleasure.
I love your sketches! Where did you learn to draw like that?
I learnt by myself. I’m a self-tought man. I draw everydays and always with pleasure.
With time, determination and a lot of work I progressed and became who I am. But this is not over yet, I still have a lot to learn and still a lot of work.
Is there anyone in the art world who inspires you?
Thanks to instagram, I discover lot of interesting artists But my favorite three are Tyrsa (@tyrsamisu), Nairone (@nairone) and Cj Hendry (@cj_hendry). Tyrsa an Nairone are two french artists and have an incredible graphic sense. I find that their work is very new and very fresh, they inspire me enormously. Cj Hendy is like them but she goes even further in her approach and in her ideas. All the achievements of these three artists influence me immensely in my ideas and my choices.
I love the fact that you show us the process of your drawings! What made you decide to display that on your Instagram?
When I started, I didn’t like tutorials or other lessons to learn how to draw. So, I appreciated when an artist I loved shared with us the process of his creation because this let me analyze his technique. I was looking at where he was starting, and I was trying to understand from what tools and with what technique did he get there. So I’m doing the same thing to eventually help future designers.
An other reason of this choices is to show everyone step by step creation. I find that this allows people to have a little more knowledge about the work behind each drawing.
Where do you see your art headed in the future?
Honestly, I don’t really know where I’ll be in the future nor where will my work be. Thanks to the social network, I have many opportunities so maybe one day I will be called to work in New York, or maybe I will be invited to show my achievements in my city… I leave time do and remain open to all proposals. For the moment I continue to work on my side and we will see where it will take me.
