Acai berries contain antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats. It help with heart health, digestion, and aging.
My new health craze are acai bowls! First of all, they’re not only aesthetically pleasing but also quite nutritional. Did you know that acai may have more antioxidant content than other commonly eaten berries, such as cranberries, blueberries and strawberries? The benefits it provides to the skin in particular is why I’m so drawn to it. According to the Global Healing Center, “Acai oil is a great natural alternative to chemical based skin care products. Currently, many modern beauty products contain acai oil because of the oil’s high antioxidant content. Taken internally, the berries provide nutrition that can give your skin a healthy glow. In fact, Brazilians have been eating acai berries for centuries to promote skin health.”
Well, with all the benefits that they provide, I wanted to share a recipe by Claudia Aiello, Founder of Clean.Eating.Life –
