Christina Tsidaki describes how her blog has changed
Christina Tsidaki, a blogger who utilizes Instagram, has gone from a simple page of selfies to an expression of her true self. She blogs about travel and the many places that she has visited. In the discussion below, she shows how this change developed.
Why did you decide to create a blog?
I have started my page with normal selfies or mirror selfies when I was younger. After that, I recognized it makes me really happy to take pictures.
What do you enjoy most about blogging?
The most amazing thing about blogging is to inspire other people. I feel so good to read a message in which people write that they are loving my pictures or my style.
Who are some of your biggest inspirations for blogging?
That’s a hard question. I guess my biggest inspiration is my mum. Sure, I get inspired by other bloggers or models like Leonie Hanne or Lorna Luxe, but my mum helps me and motivates me every time. She is an amazing woman.
What made you decide to use travel as your subject?
Actually, I didn’t start with travel but with mirror selfies, as I mentioned in the first answer. I’m Greek and when I traveled to my home country I normally did photos of the view from the hotels or something else that I thought was beautiful. So I started when I visited different islands or cities to take pictures. It’s so incredible to visit another country. And also I love flying. That’s the most important aspect.
What have been some of your favorite places?
My favorite place is Greece and will always be. It’s such an amazing country. We have so many different islands, the ocean, the Sun for the most part. I love my culture and mentality. It’s a special place every time I go there.
What do you try to learn from each place?
Every place is very special in its own way. So I look at how people handle difficult situations. If they are polite in every situation, that’s how people are. In some countries, they are so egotistical. They care only about themselves. That’s so sad to look at.
What plans do you have for the future?
My plans for the future are to pass all my exams well. And, of course, to find more time to travel to other countries!
