In life, you will always meet people for a reason or a season. This is actually the first quote that Aleksandar Josipović brilliantly shared with me. I’d like to introduce to you his story for a reason, to which I hope some of you may be positively influenced to use for many seasons.
“I’m just a man of action and reaction. One of my friends once described me as a pit-bull, one who never gives up. Whatever I say I do from A to Z. Today the greatest challenge with communication is that people, even with all the digital ‘tools’ we have (SMS, Skype, FB, iMessage …), still don’t know how to communicate effectively.
Act with integrity.
People hear it zillion times but it’s truly important to love what you do and do what you love. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you not to do it; Do what you want, what you love. Your passion, creativity, and imagination should be the center of your life. So, I’m very thankful and grateful every single moment of my life. No matter how challenging any situation may be.
I’m fascinated by different cultures; Different traditions and people. It’s amazing how we are all on the same place but have different point of view on almost everything. From life in Yugoslavia, to living in China, dancing in Moulin Rouge, studying psychotherapy, from loving and being loved….learning from being broken and crying so many times. Since I was blessed with all opportunities to work and travel around globe I got aware that no matter where you go, psychology of the people is always similar. Studying psychology always helped me to understand people & their needs better. Everything and everybody has had some influence in my life.
In my Marketing work, I do believe that true magic is in the mix. Thankfully for my ‘yesterday‘ I am able to ‘today‘ work with a 360’ degree approach. I’m always striving to be different and memorable, chasing the ideology of a unicorn. The future of Marketing is now digital. I don’t know when was the last time I had a paper magazine in my hands, do you? Video is taking over, this is the future of content marketing from my point of view, however it should always be professional and representative.
The world is now more globalized & people are traveling so much more often that they inadvertently get loads of information faster. You cannot fool them, people can always try to lie and manipulate… but this doesn’t work in the long-term. I’m in the business for longevity so I do believe in honesty. This is me. This is how I work and what I stand for. At the end of the day, every evening (and morning) I can look at myself in the mirror with no regret.
